The win against Bolton meant so much more then the 3 valuable points we got. Bolton are an ugly side still evidently stuck in a mould that was created by the anti-football robot that is Sam Allardyce. Against us last season, in Keegan's first match back, they set out to piss on our fire, playing dire, slow, defensive, long ball, hideous football. They have continued this and today they tried again to sap any sort of creative sparks in the Toon side. So it wasn't just a victory for the Toon, but another victory for football and how it should be played. Yes it wasn't an amazing performance by United either, but at least we showed intent and forward thinking unlike the drones we were facing! If Allardyce was still here I guarantee we would be playing the same systematic, stat reliant football that Bolton inflicted on us today!!
Next week we face Arsenal away and already I'm feeling nervous, but as long as we keep playing with a will to win and attack there will be no complaints on my behalf!

Who knows whats happening at the Toon these days, it all started so well. I stayed in a great Bolton Hotel that night and met a bunch of very happy lads. Great night.
